  1. Hugh Jones, the Liverpool banker who died 27/6/1842 leaving £200,000, 'had apparently been a partner in the prominent Liverpool  bank of A. Heywood & co., owned by his wife's uncle Arthur Heywood.' He succeeded to Lark Hill on Arthur Heywood's death in 1837. His wife was Elizabeth, daughter of Benjamin Heywood, whom he married in 1806. Jones' daughters married Robertson Gladstone, Hon. Richard Denman and John Pemberton Heywood, a millionaire banker. The latter's daughter Anna = Rubinstein 1887/59 leaving £651,000.
