Augustus Frederick Elmslie was the son of James Elmslie (q.v.) and grandson of John Elmslie (q.v.). It is not clear whether his firm was the direct successor to that of John Elmslie. |

Born into slavery in Carriacou, Grenada, Malvina Wells became a lady's maid in Edinburgh and a trusted family friend to her employers.
