Her son George emigrated to New South Wales in 1840 and was a minister in Sydney until 1877. Her other son Francis worked as a S.P.G. missionary in Australia for a while too.

The Buff Bay plantation was a sugar estate next to the Buff Bay River, south of Charlestown in Jamaica. By 1839, the estate was 840 acres.
