Two descendants of William Julius and Jane Smith Julius nee Edwards have entries in the ODNB which represent imperial legacies in Australasia: Churchill Julius as 'bishop of Christchurch and Archbishop of New Zealand' and Churchill Julius's son Sir George Alfred Julius as 'engineer and public servant.' Churchill Julius (1847-1938) was William Julius' great-grandson, the son of Frederic Gilder Julius (a surgeon at Richmond, Surrey) and grandson of George Charles Julius, born in St Kitts c. 1775, the son of William Julius and Jane Smith Julius.
