Son Thomas George Davy served as doctor in New Zealand from approximately 1885 to 1895 when he moved to Australia. Served as doctor on the gold fields of Coolgardie, then as medical officer in Fremantle followed by being resident doctor at Perth Hospital and President of the British Medical Association (W.A. Enslaved boy on Unity Valley Pen, Jamaica. Manumitted in 1795 by David Barclay and removed to Philadelphia, with 29 other freed persons from the estate, where he was placed under the care of Society for Improving the Condition of Free Blacks.
