Resident slave-owner of Grenada, administration of whose will was granted 29/01/1839. Under his will he made a series of monetary legacies of £50-100 to individuals in Grenada, left £1200 in trust for his cousins the Restons [?] in Aberdeen, and left a further £3000 in trust for the benefit of a group of four individuals including Alexander Lumsden jun., with the principal then passing to the latter's children when the last of them reached 21. Identified in other sources as a doctor. Born Aberdeen 1750, died Grenada 12/05/1838.
