Biography

Original grantee of Mount Rose in St George Tobago and (with J Dumaresq) of Spring Garden and Burleigh Castle in St Andrew Tobago. Mount Rose does not appear in the compensation records; Spring Garden and Burleigh do, in both cases the compensation was paid into the Chancery suit of Farquharson v Balfour. Michael Croker was among those appointed to HM Council for Tobago by Robert Melvill in 1768, but to date nothing further of him has been traced.
