Biography

The daughter of Colonel Richard Swarton. In 1761 she married Nathaniel Phillips. On her father's death she inherited his half share in Pleasant Hill, her husband Nathaniel owned the other half of the property. The couple had three children - two daughters and a son. Ann died in 1766 in childbirth. Her son died shortly afterwards.
