Biography

Co-owner with William Ross jun. of the enslaved people on Culcairn plantation in 1818. Apparently resident, and dead by 1853, when the first of a series of notices was published by the Administrator General of Berbice that included George McAndrew deceased on a list of estates for which the balances had been deposited on 27/12/1853 'in the colony chest of British Guiana' and would be absorbed by the local authorities after 10 years unless previously claimed.
