Biography

Given as Anthony A. Meynard and variants, but almost certainly the Antoine Alexandre Chevalier Demeynard, whose son Armand Charles Francis, born 09/17/1814 was baptised 5/11/1816 in Jamaica, when he was described as 'fourth lawful son of Antoine Alexandre Chevalier Demeynard, native of Tulles [Tulle?] in France, and of Adelaide Antoinette Josephine Demeynard nee de Thermis.' He was presumably a former St Domingue slave-owner resettled in Jamaica.
