  2. The Conrade Pile (b. c. 1810) living in Britain in 1881 was presumably a son. In 1881 Conrade Pile aged 71 'Ret[ire]d Acct' was living at 17 Upper Gloucester Place with wife Eliza aged 56 and son Birchall [sp?] aged 18, all born Barbados.
