Biography

One of several awardees of the compensation for 10 enslaved people in Westmoreland Jamaica. Possibly related by marriage to Jane or James Keating Clubley (q.v., under 'Jane'). A John Paddock aged 70 'MD' and wife Ellenor aged 55 were living at New Parade Road, St Helier, Jersey in 1841. In 1861 Eleanor Paddock aged 77 born Spain was living at Stone Cottage Grouville, Jersey with an unmarried daughter and three grand-daughters, surnamed Clubley and aged 18-25.
