Awarded one-third of a fractional share (either one-sixth or one-seventh) of the compensation for the enslaved on Clonbrock in British Guiana, alongside his brother and sister Thomas (q.v.) and Elizabeth Hopkinson. The three siblings were the children of John Hopkinson (q.v.) and Elizabeth Rogers, and half-brothers and sisters of Jonathan, David, Hugh, Benjamin, John and Eliza Hopkinson. The remainder of the compensation was paid to the Rogers family.
