Son of London West India merchant Samuel Turner (1745-1815) and Anne Athill, daughter of Dr John Athill (Samuel Turner and Anne Athill married St John's Church Antigua 24/07/1770). Brothers include Dr Thomas Turner (1773-1865); Samuel Turner (1776-1847) and Charles Turner (1777-1854).
Baptised 27/08/1789 at St George the Martyr Queen Square (London), son of Samuel and Anne Turner; death registered Q1 1872 aged 82; died 29/02/1872 late of Abercromby Square Liverpool, will proved by Alfred Turner nephew, effects under £10000.
John Hayward Turner and Hardman Earle were partners from 1812 in [Nicholas] Salisbury, Turner & Earle.
Possibly also the John Hyward James who counterclaimed unsucessfully with Hardman Earle for compensation for Parson Mawle estate in Antigua.
