Son of John Mowatt Bucknor, Asst. Judge of Common Pleas, Hanover, Jamaica (q.v.). Clerk, Walton Free School, Jamaica 1829. Stipendiary Curate of Westmoreland, Jamaica 1846- . Island Curate of Metcalfe, Jamaica 1853-57. In 1833 married Frances Sarah, daughter of E. P. Jackson of Montego Bay.
