Probably Elizabeth Collard, widow of John Marshall Collard and daughter-in-law of John Collard of Bristol (d. 1788). Boyd's Inhabitants of London gives her as the daughter of Samuel Lysons (1730-1804), Rector of Rodmarton, and Mary nee Peach, born 1772, who married John Marshall Collard in 1799. Elizabeth Lysons, daughter of Saml Lysons and Mary, baptised at Rodmarton, 07/09/1772. John Marshall Collard of Cricklade St Mary, Wiltshire, bachelor, married Elizabeth Lysons of this parish in Rodmarton, 03/09/1799. Their son, also named John Marshall Collard, matriculated Exeter College in 1820 age 18; Alumni Oxonienses gives John Marshall Collard senior as of Ashley, Wiltshire, armigerous. John Marshall Collard junior was baptised 22/03/1802 in Cowley, Gloucestershire.
