Biography

Awarded the compensation for the enslaved people on Healthy Valley in St Andrew and for a further enslaved person in Kingston, both in Jamaica. Although baptised in London and described as an absentee at the time of the slave registration in 1832, there are no signs of him in Britain in the 1830s.  

  1. Robert Wetherell Bryan was baptised at St Mary Magdalen Bermondsey 04/07/1785, son of Captain William Bryan and Susannah Bryan [possibly of Charlotte Street].
