Son of David Samuda of Leman Street (q.v.), and active in Jamaica between the 1790s and 1830s.
Married, Westmoreland, 08/06/1794, Ann Barnjum. She was buried there 24/12/1812, on which day their youngest child was baptised. Their children included:

. Alice Samuda: bapt. 06/1/1798
. Benjamin Samuda: bapt. 09/07/1802
. Ann Abigail Samuda: bapt. 23/09/1804
. William Hewit Samuda: bapt. 24/12/1812.
Married, secondly, in England 09/11/1815, Frances Georgina Walsh, by whom he had further issue, and died in 1848.
Will of Benjamin Samuda of Dulwich Surrey [made at Remington Green Lambeth in 1843] proved 22/07/1848. The will is very simple and made his [second] wife Frances Georgiana Samuda his universal legatee and executrix.
