  1. Son and executor of Jacob Dias Fernandes (London merchant, died 1814) and his wife Esther.

  2. Executor of a different Esther Dias Fernandes, who died in Jamaica in 1825 (wife of Isaac Dias Fernandes).

  3. In 1851, Esther Dias [sic - Fernandes not written], widow, age 88, gentlewoman, was living at 54 Great Prescott Street, Whitechapel, with her children Rebecca Dias, age 70, gentlewoman, born Jamaica, David Dias, age 66, merchant, born Jamaica, Sarah Aguilar, widow, age 64, gentlewoman, born Jamaica, and Rachel Dias, age 59, gentlewoman, born Middlesex, plus a lodger and two servants.

  4. The death of David Dias Fernandes was registered in Whitechapel, Q1 1858. He died 10/02/1858 at Great Prescott Street, Goodman's Fields, effects under £300. His executor was his nephew Joseph Henry Aguilar.
