  1. Benjamin Joseph Truman Nightingale married Susannah Sanders 24/02/1805 at St James Clerkenwell; aged 79 of Cottage Grove Peckham buried 13/08/1858 Nunhead Cemetery Linden Grove Camberwell. Left personal effets of £1500.

  2. B.G.[sic] T. Nightingale, West India mercht. 8 Artillery Place, West Finbury; B.I.[sic] T. Nightingale mercht. 8 Bunhill Row.

  3. A Benjamin Nightingale, wine and spirit merchant, was a numismatist and issuer of his own tokens, dated 1843; however, he appears to have been in partnership until 1838 with John White Welch at Buckingham Street Strand.
