Biography

Awarded compensation for the Armadale estate in St Ann as administrator of John Graham Clarke (q.v.), and also appearing as counterclaimant as adminstrator of John Graham Clarke in three other awards in Jamaica paid to James Graham Clarke.  Apparently resident in Jamaica.

  1. Deputy Judge-Advocate of the Leeward Trelawny Militia Troop in 1823 (appointed 12/04/1813). Director of the Falmouth Water Company in 1824 and 1839. Churchwarden in Trelawny in 1824. Collecting Constable, Inspector and Collector of Rum Duties in Trelawny in 1839.

  2. Mary Dyer, "the daughter of Miss Blake a free cold. person and William Dyer a white man", born 26/09/1816 and baptised 17/12/1816 in Trelawny.

  3. William Dyer and Jane Alves, both of Trelawny, were married by licence and in church in Trelawny by Rev. Thomas Alves, curate, brother of Jane, 26/10/1820.
