Susan Frances Holmes, "a free mustee", 6 months old, daughter of John Holmes Esquire, was baptised in Vere 21/12/1820. Susan inherited Twickenham estate in Vere and the 21 enslaved people on it after the death of John Holmes (his will was proved 08/06/1836).
