  1. Owner of Jacob's Hope in Westmoreland, Jamaica, from at least 1810. Deceased by 1828.

  2. Married Catherine Eleanor Nightingale (mistranscribed as Nagtergal) in 1768 in Hanover, Jamaica. She was very likely the Catherine Eleanor Nightingale, daughter of Henry Nightingale and his wife Deborah nee Heath who was baptised in Hanover 28/07/1749. At least four children baptised to this couple in Westmoreland and Hanover: Charles (1772), Jane (1772), Deborah Heath (1773) and John (1774).
