Slave-owner in Jamaica. Possibly the Alexander MacLarty brother of Colin MacLarty identified by Alan Karras as moving to Jamaica in 1797, both medical men. Alexander MacLarty acted as attorney for Colin Maclarty's Chester Vale estate 1817-1820, and himself owned Clydesdale in Port Royal. Dead by 1821.
