Biography

Claimant on an unnamed estate on St Kitts (almost certainly Nichola Town estate) under St Kitts claim no. 705. His mother Frances Woodley, daughter of William Woodley the former Governor of the Leeward Islands (q.v. under William Woodley MP) had married Henry Bankes of Kingston Lacy, MP for Corfe Castle 1780-1826 and Dorset 1826-1831. William John Bankes was himself MP for Truro, Cambridge University, Marlborough and Dorset at various times between 1810 and 1834.

Rather more interested in travelling abroad than anything else. Died in Venice, where had lived since c.1840.
