Biography

Frederick, Sarah H., James, Benjamin Bennett, William Hind and Eliza Hind Tharp were all the heirs of William Tharp, owner of Three Hills in St Mary, Jamaica, who died before 1815.

James Tharp, son of William Tharp and his wife Sarah was born 01/04/1789 and baptised 09/05/1790 in St Ann. Frederick Tharp, son of William Tharp and his unnamed wife, was born 12/10/1791 and baptised 15/04/1792 in St Ann. William Hind, son of William and Sarah Hall Tharp of St Ann was born 04/02/1793 and baptised 07/04/1793.

Benjamin Bennett Tharp (born 21/04/1798), Eliza Hind Tharp (born 19/09/1800) and William Hind Tharp (born 21/06/1803) were all baptised in St Mary 07/07/1805, no parents names given.
