Biography

Deceased by 1817. Owner of Arnon's Vale in Manchester, Jamaica.

  1. One of his executors was John Racker Webb, who stated in his will (proved 1830): "and whereas the Estate of Patrick Lalor Deceased is also at present considerably Indebted to me Now in case any part of the monies now due to me from the said Patrick Lalors Estate shall remain unpaid at the time of my Decease I hereby release exonerate and discharge the said Estate and all persons when It doth shall or may concern of and from all such monies as shall so remain due to me..."

  2. It seems likely that the heirs of Patrick Lalor were the Margaret, William, Patrick and Henry Lalor who were awarded slave compensation for the ownership of nine enslaved people in Manchester jointly with John Racker Webb's natural daughter Ann Webb.

  3. William Lalor (born 18/12/1810), Henry Lalor (born 13/10/1812), Margaret Lalor (born 06/07/1814 and Sarah Goldring Lalor (born 26/04/1816), all free children of colour, were baptised in St Elizabeth 13/01/1820. Patrick Laylor and John Laylor, both "free quadroon", were baptised in St Elizabeth, 04/07/1819.
