Biography

  1. Linen draper of Louth, Lincolnshire. Married in 1815 at Faldingworth to Elizabeth Burnett, daughter of Richard Burnett, butcher, of Ingham, Lincolnshire, and his wife Ann nee Earl. Elizabeth Burnett was the niece of Edward Earl of Seafield Pen in Trelawny, Jamaica, and William Bradley was one of the executors and trustees named in Edward Earl's will (proved in 1823). Edward Earl also left William Bradley £500 sterling 'to assist him in his line of business'.

  2. William Bradley and his wife Elizabeth had four children baptised in Louth, Lincolnshire: Eliza Earl (1816), Edward Earl (1818), William Charles (1820) and Caroline (1822).

  3. William Bradley of Louth, Lincolnshire, linen draper, was declared bankrupt 07/05/1822.
