Biography

Wife of John Boswell who owned Abbey Green estate in St David, Jamaica. Received an annuity of £750 Jamaican currency for life from Abbey Green after the death of her husband. By 1827 she had remarried, to Richard Carter of Cloudsley Terrace, Islington. Sister to Judith Barker [q.v.] and Ann Newman who are named in the will of her son John Matthews Boswell.
