Biography

Joseph Hiscox of East Moulsey [sic] was party with others to a deed of 1762 leasing the Tryall estate to Peter Mackenzie.

  1. Will of Joseph Hiscox of Frith Street St Anne Soho [made in 1787] proved 06/11/1790. Under the will he left an annuity secured on his Jamaica estates of £40 p.a. to his wife's son Mr John Cunningham Carmalt [sp?]. His residuary heirs were his wife's daughters, Elizabeth Williams Williamson widow and Emma Hiscox Carmalt.
