Biography

Son of John Graham of Mossknowe and nephew of William Graham of Mossknowe I (each of whom q.v.). Administration of the will of William Graham of Mossknowe [I] had been granted granted to William Graham the son and sole executor of John Graham; in 1832 administration was again granted, to Erskine Douglas Sandford, executor of William Graham [of Mossknowe II] to whom administration had been granted in 1821.

  1. Will of William Graham of Mossknow [sic] Dumfriesshire proved 10/03/1832. He left £10,000 to his two daughters; his estate included a debt of £5760 due 'after long litigation' from John Graham Campbell of New Hope Jamaica. He identified his executor Erskine Douglas Sandford as his son-in-law.
