Robert Brade

Liverpool slave-trader, partner with William Harper (q.v.) and with him likely to have been the Brade who appeared as mortgagee of slave-property on Montserrat.

  1. Robert Brade, son of James Brade of Forton, baptised at St Michael, Cockerham, Lancashire, 12/04/1747. His parents James Brade and Agnes Vaughan had married in the same church 25/10/1742.
