Robert Parnther

???? - 1822

Biography

London solicitor, founder of Druces LLP in 1767. LBS has concluded that he was the Robert Parnther brother and executor of John Parnther senior (q.v.): his own will proved in 1822 refers to his property in London Street [where Parnther and Druce had been based] and to his niece Isabella Parnther (q.v.) and there is a nexus around Hatfield, where Isabella Parnther lived and where Robert Parnther's grandson Robert George Parnther (d. 1860) was baptised in 1812. There is no evidence that Robert Parnther himself was a slave-owner.
