Richard Ambler

One of the heirs of James Fraunces (q.v.), inherited Jamaican property alongside his sister-in-law Mary Smith nee Jaquelin and Martha Jaqueline (Mary and Martha were James Fraunces's first cousins, and Richard Ambler was widow of their sister Elizabeth).

Richard Ambler, age 39, born England, married Elizabeth Jaqueline, age 20, born Virginia, in America in 1729.

Richard Ambler, son of John Ambler and Elizabeth Burkadike, of the City of York in England. Born 24/12/1690, emigrated to Virginia in 1716, to Little York. Followed the fortunes of his uncle Burkadike.
