Biography
- Will of Harry Slingsby of the island of Barbados [but about to make a journey to Europe] [made in 1746] proved 06/11/1747. The will left his two farms in Kent to Wavill (sic) Smith, the father of his first wife, and the bulk of his estate in Barbados to his wife Ann Slingsby. He had interests including debts receivable in Antigua and St Kitts, which he left to William Smith, uncle of his first wife.
