John Cross of Glasgow

1719 - 1779


Biography

Glasgow merchant, father of William Cross (q.v.). In 1768 he was party together with Robert Bogle and John Baird all of Glasgow with Charlton Palmer and James Oswald of London, mortgaging an estate known as Montreuil.
