Merchant of Kingston, whose will made in 1757 was proved 02/07/1761. His widow Elizabeth remarried Thomas Gray of Kingston (q.v.). He left his wife an annuity of £1000 p.a., £20 each to his sisters Elizabeth Fulton and Marian Robinson and his brother James Jamison of Glasgow, and left his residuary estate to his son William Jamison, then a minor in Glasgow. This younger William Jamison appears to have married his cousin Ann, the daughter of John Gray of Bath, and died at Bath c. 1797.
