Merchant of London, one of a group of London merchants lending £60,000 in total to Alexander Donaldson in 1803 secured on substantial 'slave-property', mostly mortgages.

  1. Will of James Brymer merchant of Throgmorton Street London proved 03/01/1815.He left £35,000 to the family of Alexander Brymer of Bath his cousin, and a range of other smaller monetary legacies of friends. Alexander Brymer was a Nova Scotia merchant dying in 1822, leaving £120,000.
