Partner in Walrond Ellis (q.v.), son of Charles Wills Walrond (1754-1795) and his wife Elizabeth nee Day, and nephew of Joseph Lyons Walrond (q.v.). Married Jane, daughter of Sir Charles Holland Hastings, 11/09/1820.

In 1841 living at Calder Park house, Old Monklands Lanarkshire, age 50, merchant, with his wife Jane and children Agnes age 18, Jane age 15, Mary age 13, Main age 7, Francis age 4 and Charles age 3. All the children born in Lanarkshire. At the same address in 1851, aged 63 West India Merchant born St Kitts with wife Jane aged 50 and daughter Mary C Walrond aged 22; in 1861 at the same address, aged 73, born West Indies with wife Jane.

  2. Confirmation 06/03/1865 under seal of Commissariot of Lanarkshire of Mrs Jane Hastings or Jane Walrond, Theodore Walrond (Secretary to the Civil Service Commission), Rev. Main Swete Alexander Walrond, Francis Charles Walrond merchant of Glasgow and Alexander Hamilton as executors of Theodore Walrond of Calderpark House who died 31/12/1864.

  3. Rev. Main Swete Alexander Walrond (1834-1899) was a member of the Eyre Defence Committee, 1866.
