Biography

Partner with James McDowell and John Watt in Kingston, Jamaica. The three were listed as co-owners of Ellerslie in St George in 1834 (but not owners of this estate in 1832) and were co-owners of a group of enslaved people in Kingston from at least 1820 to 1832.

  1. William Cramsie of the house of MacDowell, Cramsie and Watt died at Portrush, Coleraine, 14/07/1838. He was the son of William Cramsie of Clodagh, near Ballymoney, and had lived in Jamaica upwards of 20 years.
