Biography

Second son of John Law, Archdeacon of Rochester and brother of Stephana Biscoe (née Law) (q.v.). Related by marriage to the Pinney family.

  1. George Law appears as a solicitor at Lincoln's Inn from c. 1807.

  2. A Stephana Law, daughter of George and Charlotte Law, was baptised at East Knoyle, Wiltshire England on 24/10/1811.

  3. Will of George Law formerly of Lincolns Inn and of Kenilworth House Cheltenham but late of Cotswold Lodge Cheltenham who died 26/10/1870 at Cotswold Lodge proved 17/11/1870 by George Still Law of Lincolns Inn the son sole executor, effects under £12,000; death registered at Cheltenham aged 87 Q4 1870.
