1768 - 1857
Daughter of Anthony Wyke. Married Daniel Hill the younger (q.v.) at St George's, Antigua, 12/03/1789. Awarded compensation for Brooks and Morris's estate(s) in Antigua as executor of her husband, and received further compensation under another smaller award in Antigua where she was given as Ann Byam Hill. It is likely but not demonstrated that her son Henry Hill was the Secretary to the Commissioners of Compensation.
In 1851, Anne Byam Hill aged 82 born Montserrat was living at 13 Orchard St with her son Henry Hill (aged 54) barrister-at-law born Antigua and daughter Elizabeth aged 50. In 1841 the family had been at the same address. Anne Byam Hill was the main beneficiary of her son's will (made in 1852 when she was 83 and proved 16/06/1857), having the interest for life in his personalty and in half of the income from his real property, including the Brooks and Morris estates in Antigua. His sister Elizabeth, who was trustee, was the remainderman and residuary legatee.
Ann [sic] Byam Hill of 29 Grande Rue, Boulogne sur Mer, was buried at All Souls Kensal Green 09/05/1857 aged 89.
