In 1861 George Henry Hooper aged 81 born Clerkenwell Justice of the Peace was living at 5 Regency Square Brighton with daughter Helen aged 48 and son also George Henry aged 45 barrister both born Brompton. In 1841 and 1851 he was living at Bloomsbury Square. He left £35,000 on his death in Brighton in 1863. His former partner Alexander Denoon left £16,000 'in England' in 1877.
