Baptism not found but Robert Edmiston was probably aged 21 or above when he registered enslaved people on behalf of his mother and "her free born children" in 1817, when "the labour of [the enslaved people] is at the disposal and for the interest of Robert Edmiston senior Esquire among his life time."
