John Mansfield, brother-in-law and one of the devisees in trust of Thomas Hibbert (who died in 1807): the compensation for the enslaved people on Agualta Vale was paid into the Chancery suit of Washington Hibbert v Thomas Hibbert and others, a suit instituted to implement Thomas Hibbert's will.

The will of Rev. John Mansfield of Rowner in Hampshire proved 28/10/1837 mentions his sister Dorothy Hibbert.
