Biography

Son of Charles James Sholto Douglas and half-brother of James Sholto Douglas (q.v.), for whom he appears to have been a trustee. The source of the £100,000 personalty he left at death is not clear.

  1. Will of Edward Bullock Douglas of Montpellier France proved 25/09/1830. In his will and codicil, which are each five lines long, he left monetary legacies of £500 each to his executors, £1000 to his nephew Sir James Douglas, and £200 to 'Mr Brown' on top of the salary due to Brown, and the remainder of his estate to his wife and son.
