'Mrs Poyntz' was the owner of 400 acres in St Andrew, Jamaica, in 1753.

Mary Poyntz was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 443 acres of land in St Andrew.

Burnett, Crawford and Poyntz were listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owners of 500 acres of land in St Thomas-in-the-East.
