Son of Benjamin Charnock Walrond (d. 1810) and Judith Elizabeth nee Howell (d. 1813). Born 07/07/1786 and baptised in Christ Church, Barbados, 21/06/1788. Married Dorothy Skinner in St Peter, Barbados, 28/01/1808. Eight children including Benjamin Walrond junior (1813-1840). A colonel in the militia.
