John Frederick Bromfield

Owner of Hampstead estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica.

1. Baptised 02/10/1785 in St Elizabeth, son of Andrew Bromfield and Rose Reynolds.

2. John Frederick Bromfield and Mary Mullings, both of the parish of St Elizabeth, were married there by licence, 20/03/1805.

3. John Mullings Bromfield, born 10/04/1809 and baptised 09/06/1810 at Bellfield, son of John Frederick Bromfield and Mary his wife. Sophia Ann, same parents, was baptised in St Elizabeth 04/04/1806.

4. John Frederick Bromfield registered enslaved people in St Elizabeth 1817-1726 as guardian of his daughter Sophia Ann Bromfield (later Jones), including enslaved people inherited from her grandfather Edward Mullings in 1820.
