Sophia Ann Jones (née Bromfield)

1. Sophia Ann was the daughter of John Frederick Bromfield and Mary his wife baptised in St Elizabeth 04/04/1806. She inherited enslaved people from her grandfather Edward Mullings and owned enslaved people registered by her father John Frederick Bromfield in 1817, 1820, 1823 and 1826.

2. Five children baptised to John Bennett Jones and his wife Sophia Ann: Georgiana (1827, St Elizabeth); Theodora (1832, St James); Hughana (1833, St Elizabeth); Andrew Bennett (1836, St Elizabeth); and Daniel Bromfield (1843, St Elizabeth). At the baptism of his youngest child he was given as a planter of Salisbury.

3. Sophia Ann Jones of Salisbury, St Elizabeth died 22/12/1889 aged 83 years.
